Hey guys – really enjoyed the show this week. Although I quite liked the original RED – I might pass on seeing RED 2. Hasn’t it been a mostly lack-lustre summer for big Hollywood genre fare this year? I saw The Wolverine yesterday and Only God Forgives a few weeks back. Wolverine is really quite smart for a comic book movie and well-directed by Mangold and Only God Forgives is very much Refn at his most Lynchian. I’d be really interested to hear yours and the other guy’s thoughts on these two releases next week. Keep up the great work! – Greg

Glad to hear that about the Wolverine, I’ve been trying no to get my hopes up because most movies we have been excited for this summer were huge disappointments. We should have both of those out in the next few days.

RED 1 featured my pinup gal Gina Elise – she was the calendar girl. And that’s pretty much the only reason I saw it.
RED 2 doesn’t have even that attraction.
